Game reviews

All games are graded on a scale of 1 to 100. A score of 100 means that a game is a classic that should not only be considered a must-buy, but could be viewed as a “killer app” for the entire wireless game industry. A score of 90 to 99 means that a game is great but lacks that extra something special to make it a killer application for a handheld system. A score of 80 to 89 means that the game is solid and deserves attention, but is not a strong buy. A score of 70 to 79 basically means that the game is average with no real special qualities. Finally, below 70 means that the game needs some serious work before gamers should even think about purchasing it. Factors that make up the final score include originality/uniqueness, playability, learning curve, graphics, and replay value.Angry Birds 100When the birds watch the pigs eat their eggs, they get mad. Catapult the birds into the pigs’ fortresses and seek revenge! This game gets a 100 score for being entertaining, and at times, challenging. With a funny storyline, as well as an addictive quality, this game is suitable for all gamers.Unblock Me 100The purpose is to free the red block from the surrounding brown blocks. It’s no easy feat, but it will keep you playing for hours: for this feature, it earns our highest mark!Doodle Kart- 99This game will definitely make you feel like a kid again. Not only can you doodle your own car, but you can set traps for your fellow racers: like launching pencils or dropping holes in the ground. It’s a little difficult to maneuver at first, but we love this game for its creativity!Spazzle Gold 95Just like Whack a Mole, Spazzle Gold has you hitting critters for points. The game is definitely entertaining and the speed will keep you on your toes. However, it earns a 95 for lacking an addictive factor. The Impossible Test 93While being timed, battle through 70 questions using any means possible. If you enjoy puzzles, you’ll keep trying until you’ve answered every question. Reversely, anyone who doesn’t enjoy a perplexing game will not appreciate it. Since the test isn’t suitable for every gamer we gave it a 93!Sheep Launcher 85The purpose of the game is to keep your sheep in the air. The higher you get your sheep, the more points you earn. It’s definitely a fun game, but after a while, it gets a little repetitive.Where’s Waldo? The Fantastic Journey 75While there’s nothing like a childhood favorite, the Where’s Waldo app isn’t as entertaining as the old books.
